L & L Hawaiian on West Calaveras Boulevard claimed the Best of Milpitas 2007 title, with a big menu and quick service. First runner-up was Mahalo BBQ, at McCarthy Ranch Marketplace. Also mentioned for the Honor Award is a Japanese restaurant with Hawaiian influences, including a surfboard motif: Bento Xpress in the Beresford Square shopping center.
