St. John the Baptist Church’s parishioners rejoiced loudest. The ethnically diverse congregation won Best Church for the second year. Christ Community Church offers lots of family programs and multicultural classes, and was first runner-up again. St. Elizabeth’s, Spring Valley Bible Church, the Church of Latter-day Saints, Sunnyhills United Methodist Church, Milpitas Christian Fellowship, North Valley Christian Fellowship, Jubilee Christian Center, Mount Olive Lutheran Church and Calvary Assembly all had supporters who voted, for Honor Awards.
