140. Best Pediatrician

Kaiser Permanente is popular for many reasons, but its pediatricians seem to stand out in the balloting every year. One of the most beloved is Dr. Elaine Chen (who recently left Kaiser), who won the Best Pediatrician title in 2007 and 2006, and this year tied Kaiser practitioner Dr. Janice Richards. They were closely followed by another doctor who is excellent with kids, Dr. Elizabeth Vroman, (2005 and 2004 winner). One other Honor Award recipient was Dr. Craig Rothbach, with San Jose Medical Group.
