For second time since the early 2000s, a new best quiet drink spot winner has been named: Bleu Ginger. The eclectic South Abel Street restaurant and lounge caters to upscale tastes, and readers responded overwhelmingly. Swan Court at the Embassy Suites, a longtime winner, was first runner-up for its soothing waterfall and atrium atmosphere with koi ponds. Bar-restaurants and a coffeehouse chain garnered the rest of the voting: Outback, El Torito, Q-Cup and Tapioca Express. Seems it depends on what time you go, since El Torito and Outback, at least, can also get pretty lively around happy hour.
