Mexican food store Gomez Market won this category in 2004 and roared back for the title in 2006 and this year. It is popular for its prepared Mexican meals, plus fresh meats and baked goods. The popular market expanded to include a full-service dine-in restaurant now, adding to its appeal. Ocean Supermarket won this category in 2002 and 2003, and returned for an Honor Award.
