Best Gas Station
Winner here is the Shell station on Calaveras near Interstate 680. This station has for many years been owned by the same community-minded couple, Virgil and June Romeroso, winning them the Business Person of the Year designation from Milpitas Chamber of Commerce in 2006. Mr. P’s Main Street Gas, a no frills station where low prices also seem to be the draw, also rallied votes, as did the Union 76 at Abbott Avenue and Calaveras Boulevard, and at the Wang family ARCO.
