Best Coffee
The need for caffeine drives more customers to Starbucks than any other coffeehouse chain in town. Starbucks and its baristas took the award for the 11th time in as many years. We’ve laid it out before, but for those who don’t know, there are eight Starbucks within Milpitas’ 13.6 square miles. That’s one Starbucks for every 1.7 square miles; one for every 8,125 Milpitans.
New to the Honor Awards circle are two newcomers in town, though they are no strangers to serious coffee drinkers elsewhere: It’s A Grind and Peet’s. Borders’ café also has fans for its java.
A repeat Honor Award recipient is Caffino in the Milpitas Center. It gets people on their way quickly, from the convenience of their vehicle.
